NEW ZEALAND
Martin Guptill (50): Played well for his fifty, didn’t quite get enough of the sweep off Moeen, Roy taking a fine catch. 7
Colin Munro (1 & 1-23): Second loose dismissal of the series, throwing the arms away from the body. Easy to say that’s the nature of being an aggressive batsman but looks ugly when it becomes a habit. 3
Mark Chapman (1): Done by extra bounce? Couldn’t get to grips with Woakes, the top-edge resulting in a fine grab from Willey. 2
Ross Taylor (10): Fresh from his 18th ODI ton, became one of the many to fall foul of ill-advised running. 4
Tom Latham (22): Attempted to cut Moeen away but misjudged the bounce and picked out Curran. 5
Henry Nicholls (1): Dismissed by a belter of a catch but the delivery from Stokes was there to be put away. 2
Colin de Grandhomme (38 & 0-11): Useful middle-order runs didn’t materialise into something more substantial as run-outs continued to be New Zealand’s demise. Top effort to dismiss Root. 7
Mitchell Santner (63* & 0-40): Brilliant fight once again, saved the Blackcaps from an even more chastening margin of defeat. 8
Tim Southee (6 & 0-55): Stand-in skipper expensive with the ball today. 5
Lockie Ferguson (19 & 1-48): Stuck around for a fifty partnership with Santner. 6
Trent Boult (2 & 2-46): Returned decent figures - removing Roy and Root - when charged with defending a slim target. 7
ENGLAND
Jason Roy (8): A couple of sweetly struck boundaries before pulling one straight to Santner at square leg. Two outstanding catches. 7
Jonny Bairstow (37): Will be disappointed with the execution of the shot he got out to, missed out on a fifty. Quick arm to run out de Grandhomme. 7
Joe Root (9): Sent packing by a tremendous effort from de Grandhomme. 5
Eoin Morgan (62): A first fifty in 11 ODI innings will be a relief for the captain. 8
Ben Stokes (2-42 & 63*): Back firing on all cylinders, an all-round man-of-the-match performance. 9
Jos Buttler (36*): A quick-fire cameo as England saw things out with ease. 7
Moeen Ali (2-33): Great figures from his ten. 8
Chris Woakes (2-42): On the money from the off, taking two early wickets to put the hosts on the back foot. 7
David Willey (0-16): Economical but not given many overs again. Very impressive in the field. 8
Tom Curran (0-53): Wicketless and the most expensive of England’s bowlers. 5
Adil Rashid (0-32): Contained Taylor when the batsman was eager to attack early on and went at just 3.20 an over. 8
