Somerset v Sussex

Where: Cooper Associates County Ground, Taunton

When: Tuesday May 22, 11.00am BST start

Team news: Both sides will likely remain unchanged from their previous fixtures against Glamorgan and Hampshire, with no major injury concerns for either side.

Form: Somerset come into Tuesday’s game on the crest of a wave having begun their Royal London One-Day Cup campaign in the best possible way, cruising to victory over Surrey by eight wickets in their opening fixture before a James Hildreth inspired 83-run win over Glamorgan, as the batsman hit a career best 159, continued their momentum.

Sussex, on the other hand, have started more modestly, winning one and losing one in their opening two matches, nonetheless still leaving them third in the table after a comfortable seven wicket win over Kent on Thursday and an agonising defeat to Hampshire two days later.

In 2017, Somerset won a rain-affected match in Hove by 9 runs via the Duckworth-Lewis method, Dean Elgar top scoring with 131 not out.

Weather: Sunny intervals breezy, high 21

Tickets: Adults £20 (advance) £25 (on the day), Students £10 (advance) £12 (on the day), Under 18s £5 - more info click here
