Dwayne Bravo will play for Middlesex this summer
Middlesex have announced the signing of West Indian allrounder Dwayne Bravo for this year's T20 Blast.
Bravo will be available for the county's first six matches of the competition, subject to visa approval and a the granting of a No Objections Certificate.
He will feature in games against Surrey, Essex, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Hampshire.
"I’ve been fortunate enough throughout my career to have played all round the world and Lord’s in London is a place that really excites me," Bravo said.
Bravo is one of the world's elite T20 stars
"I have no hesitation committing to Middlesex for six games of the Vitality Blast and am looking forward to joining Dan Vettori’s squad at the start of July."
Managing director of cricket Angus Fraser said: "Dwayne is one of the most exciting and best T20 players in the world. He can win games of cricket with bat or ball.
"He may only be available for six games, but I expect him to have an impact in a number of these matches. I’m sure he is a player the huge Lord’s crowds will enjoy watching."
Bravo, who currently sits third in the Player Performance Index - which charts the T20 form of the world's best players over a three-year period, has a vast amount of experience in the format.
He has twice won the World T20, in addition to tasting victory in the Indian Premier League, Caribbean Premier League and Bangladesh Premier League.
He has accumulated more than 5,500 runs in Twenty20 cricket and taken 420 wickets.
